PAYING FOR YOUR VILLA BOOKING
A fixed deposit of £500 per week is to be paid when booking to secure your dates.
A deposit invoice will be sent to you once your dates are confirmed - this must be paid within 48 hours to confirm your booking. We accept payment by credit/debit card or bank transfer. The balance is due four weeks before arrival. Deposits are non-returnable because we take your chosen weeks off sale once your booking is confirmed.
Other Useful Information
Airline Travel From The UK
Easyjet usually offers direct flights from the UK from late March through to the end of October. At other times, fly to Athens and then a quick hop vial Olympic Air to the island. Other airlines to consider include RyanAir and Norwegian Air.
Car Hire
We recommend a local, family-owned car hire firm which we use whenever we visit the island. They are usually cheaper than the big-name companies you'll find at the airport. If you book with them, they will meet you from your flight with a car waiting at the airport. No queuing and very easy to deal with. Let us know if you'd like their contact details.
Bed Linen & Towels
Bed linen and towels, including pool towels, are provided. These are changed every 7 days along with the cleaning of the villa. If your booking is for 12 days, the linen/towel change and clean would be done on the 6th day. If the booking is for 7 days, the villa is prepared ready for arrival and no linen/towel change or clean is done until the day of departure. A 14-day booking has the linen/towel and clean done on the 7th day. With the new protocols surrounding COVID 19 (staff not going into occupied rooms during stays), bed linen can be left for guests make beds themselves if it is changed during their stay.
Household Waste
Disposal of household waste is the responsibility of our guests. This can be deposited in any of the green bins which are available on the public roads around the village. There is no daily maid service.
Swimming Pool Depth
The pool is 8m long x 4m wide. 1.25m depth at the shallow end and 1.75m at the deep end.
No Smoking Inside The Villa
Please do not smoke or vape inside Villa Hestia. If you smoke outside, please ensure you extinguish your cigarettes and dispose of them responsibly.
